Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled its concept electric sports car 'Halo', it terrific looks and the styling is well proportioned. The car can reach a speed of 100km/hr in less than 8 seconds and a top speed of over 200kph. The car can be fully recharged in one hour, while a recharge of 15 minutes will give a range of 25 km.

The Mahindra Halo has been designed by Mahindra REVA’s in-house team, with the help of leading designers from Pininfarina and Bertone. Powering the Mahindra Halo will be an electric motor developing just 104 kilowatta (140 horsepower), which is enough to accelerate the small two-seater from 0-62 mph in about 9.0 seconds. Offers battery pack with a range of about 125 miles. It will take about three years to be production ready but if goes to plan, than Mahindra expects to launch it commercially in the next three years.

You will get an increase of 186mm in wheel base, the executive class seats recline 17 degrees (8 degrees in the standard version) and 10.2 inch screen at the rear with deployable tables in the Range Rover LWB. It is made up of an aluminium body and the interior space of ear seat legroom is of 140 mm and seat back reclining by 8 degrees, also added a massage option with the seats.

The Range Rover gets a 503bhp and 625Nm and the petrol variant is powered by the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 510 PS and 625 Nm of torque. It's price will be around Rs. 3.5 crore. The Range Rover will pamper with its utmost comfort while on the road and tackle off-road terrain with ease while pampering with luxury.

Maruti Suzuki India, unveiled the Celerio hatchback at the Auto Expo 2014. The new Celerio AMT variants have an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 23.1 km/l and has a 3600mm long and 1600mm wide hatchback which will take on the Hyundai i10. The Celerio has four variants LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXI and might only come with one engine but there will be an option to choose between a manual and an automatic. The manual is a 5-speed gearbox while the automatic is essentially a clutchless manual. The LXi and VXi trim also get the option of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) variant or what Maruti calls its semi automatic - the Auto Gear Shift tech, the Zxi trim will only be available with a manual gearbox.

At 2425mm wheelbase and has substantial amounts of interior space, especially knee room. All versions of the Celerio, will be powered by a petrol engine. It uses aluminum in its construction and is named the K10B, it's also called as the K-Next engine and only weighs 830kg in its heaviest form. It has also got audio and bluetooth telephony controls on the steering wheel

BMW's latest innovation i8 Electric Hybrid Supercar got unveiled from Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar. It is a sheer elegance and beauty where its exterior accents and internal makeup is concerned, the i8 has all to excite a true car enthusiast.
